Printable Woodland Animal Cards

I'm pretty bad at remembering birthdays, I'm sure I'm not the only one!

I forget to buy nice birthday or greetings cards, the ones you find in those lovely real life independent stores. Or if I have got a little stash of cards they disappear when I need them. And I definitely forget to factor in the post delivery time when I’m sending cards for a special occasions. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

So I thought birthday or greetings cards that people could print out at home would be useful. Everything is at your finger tips, you don’t have to rush around. After printing out, you add the home made feel by cutting and folding them yourself. I wanted these cards to have as much of a human made feel to them as possible that’s why I created them using watercolour, ink and pencil crayon.

I’m always inspired by native wildlife in the UK, although I do wish we had a few bears and wolves 😂. I always think you're lucky when you see a wild animal, even if it's a tiny scurrying mouse.

Technically I’ve seen all the woodland animals on the card designs in real life but the only badger I've ever seen was a flash on b&w. Have you seen all these creatures on these cards?

I had to include some night animals in honour of the amazing little bats that live in my roof. And the tawny owls who always sound like they having a party as they call to each other in the dark.
