✨Happy New Year🥳✨ Are you pleased with anything you did this year?
I know, I'm joining in with those annoying people who tell them about my achievements of the year. Don’t worry there’s not so much pizazz to them! 😅
The 1st thing I am pleased with this year is launching my T-shirt designs.
When I looked back into my sketchbooks it’s crazy, I’ve been mithering over the designs for over a year! I was so worried that they should look ‘perfect’, but the designs were tight and too realistic. It wasn’t til I relaxed my drawing and had more fun creating that I became happier with the designs.
Promoting my designs has felt out of my comfort zone, I still feel like a bit of a knob and I still have lots to learn😅. I’m excited as I have lots of design ideas for next year, I can’t wait to get going. (🤫I have already❤️🐶)
The 2nd thing is silly but I was chuffed so I’ll tell you about my mouse hunting skills!
I let Stripes the cat into the house and didn’t realise she was carrying a mouse.

She dropped it, I saw it for a second, a little field vole, then it was gone. I searched all the corners of the kitchen and couldn’t find it anywhere, it had vanished.
It took me a few days & a small buffet of snacks to work out that little vole was still alive.

This was confirmed when I heard a loud crunching from in the walls! That’s when I knew I had to go mouse hunting.
I put the humane traps down as soon as they arrived and the next morning I had a very cross little vole trapped in a box. I carefully released the little wall chomper along a hedge line. Hopefully the little rascal has leaned how to avoid predators.

Looking back at this year did you do anything you were particularly proud of even if it’s silly like catching a live mouse!
Don’t forget the achievement of the year is to still be here with your feet facing in the right direction, so you’re winning 👏😁
✨Wishing you a very Happy New Year🥳
